Bronze at the Olympics, European Cup winner, German champion: Edgar Itt was one of the fastest 400 meter hurdlers in the world in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
He knows only too well how important it is to always keep moving and to constantly work on yourself in order to achieve goals.
The recipient of the Silver Laurel Leaf therefore particularly enjoys showing children in running schools that exercise can be fun and that it can lead to better sporting and academic results.
He has also been passing on his knowledge and experience as a keynote speaker in an emotional but also humorous way for many years with great success.
We are very grateful to have Edgar Itt as our inspiration and supporter with the Olympic flame that still burns within him.
