TALENTS
Discover what is inside you!
Being good at something is wonderful. And every child is good at something!
But where do a child's strengths lie? Trying things out, allowing freedom, observing. A child's strengths cannot be developed if adults project their own wishes. Individual talents can best be encouraged and developed if parents do not exert any pressure.
In addition, a child must have a natural self-interest – because nothing has a more detrimental effect on children than being forced into a pattern or not being able to meet excessive demands.
Adults usually pay less attention to the positive characteristics and focus on what a child cannot (yet) do. As adults, we have to remember that a child's strengths and weaknesses go hand in hand.
